ELPH Awards FAQs

Who can apply for the awards?

Awards could be applied for as an individual or a team representing a personal care, pharmaceutical or healthcare company. The company must be a producer, manufacturer or distributer of personal care, pharmaceutical or healthcare products. International corporations must have a Canadian subsidiary to apply for the awards. Applicants can apply for the awards in either English or French.

How do I apply for the awards?

The applicant must fill out the ELPH Awards application form. Beginning on February 13, 2017, application forms will be available on the ELPH Awards website. Forms will be available to be uploaded to the awards application portal until 5 pm on Friday, November 10, 2017.

Is there a fee to apply?

There is no fee to apply to the ELPH Awards.

Can I apply to more than one awards category?

Yes, an individual, team or company can submit one application per category. For instance, in a large company one team can apply for the stewardship awards while another individual can apply for the special projects award.

Who will judge the awards?

Judges will be invited by the ELPH Awards committee to help evaluate the award submissions. They will be separate from our ELPH Awards committee.

How will the awards be judged?

Judges will be provided with tools (i.e. scorecards) to assist them in identifying applicants who demonstrate innovative or advanced solutions on their sustainability project.

When will I find out if I won?

The ELPH Awards submission portal will close on a date to be determined.
