This month’s Top Story demonstrates how one decision by one person made a huge impact in her place of employment. Once she was aware of potential harmful chemicals (PVCs) in children’s furniture used in hospitals Sarah O’Keeffe took action. She researched available options for the necessary furniture investment. The hospital accepted Sarah’s recommendation and purchased only furniture that was completely free of PVC compounds. You just never know…..
