When it comes to environmental sustainability, understanding that everything is connected is important in making meaningful change. This is true for the connection between the pharmaceutical industry and the environment; the health of patients is directly tied to the health of the planet.
“Climate change’s influence on human health can be direct or indirect – through infectious disease patterns, increasing extreme weather patterns and the risk of drought, floods and subsequent food insecurity, as well as various respiratory diseases from poor air quality.
