Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

Provincial EPR programs require businesses that manufacture, import, or sell packaged products to take financial responsibility for the end-of-life management of their packaging. With active programs across eight provinces, each with their own registration requirements, reporting deadlines, and fee structures, staying compliant is complex.

For pharmaceutical companies, that complexity is compounded by the volume and variety of packaging involved, from primary drug packaging to secondary boxes, inserts, and promotional materials. Understanding what counts, what gets reported, and to whom requires detailed knowledge of both the regulatory framework and your own packaging portfolio.

EAG helps clients work through all of it. We assess your obligations across provinces, register you with the appropriate Producer Responsibility Organizations, collect and organize your packaging data, and submit accurate reports on your behalf, year after year.
